You can browse the board without signing in — you just can't save picks. Ask Nate for your PIN.
Up to 10 games a week, straight-up winners. You never have to use all ten — sitting a game out scores nothing, which is often the right call.
Every game is a 100-point pot split between the two teams by how likely each is to win, and the board shows both halves: what you win, then what you lose.
You are always risking the other side's number. A 98% favorite pays +2 and costs -98 — you are staking 98 to win 2. Ten of those in a week means risking about 970 points to win 30. They all land about three weeks in four; the fourth week undoes a month.
The price comes off the real betting market with the bookmaker's margin stripped out, so every pick on the board is worth exactly zero on average. Loading up on heavy favorites nets you nothing over a season; so does chasing nothing but upsets. The only way to gain is to be right where the market is wrong.
That also means playing it safe can't win. Ten chalk picks a week drifts toward zero with almost no variance — fine in September, useless if you're 200 back in November. Sooner or later you have to take a real swing.
| Market price | Win chance | Right | Wrong |
|---|---|---|---|
| -800 | 89% | +11 | -89 |
| -200 | 67% | +33 | -67 |
| even | 50% | +50 | -50 |
| +250 | 29% | +71 | -29 |
| +900 | 10% | +90 | -10 |
The grey number beside each team is the point spread, shown for reference only. You are not picking against it — a one-point win pays the same as a blowout.
Points come from the moneyline, the market's odds on who wins outright, which is a different question from margin. That is why two games on the same spread can be priced differently. Where no book posted a moneyline, the spread is converted with a curve fitted to college football.
Sign in with your name and PIN, tap Pick next to a team, and that's it — your card saves itself. Change it as often as you like right up to kickoff.
Point values are frozen when the board is published and don't move all week, so picking early costs you nothing. A pick has to be in before that game kicks off; once it starts, that pick is locked and can't be added, changed, or removed. Nobody sees anyone else's pick until that game kicks off. Ties and cancellations score zero. Season total is a straight sum; highest number in January wins.
$CHALK is not points. It has no effect on the leaderboard — you can't buy season points with it, and no amount of chalk moves your total. Nothing converts between the two.
That wall is deliberate. It's what lets the upset and streak bonuses be generous without distorting the scoring, and it's why chalk can't go negative the way your points can.
You earn it by playing. You spend it betting the others head-to-head on any game that hasn't kicked off yet.
1. Post it. Pick any game that hasn't started, pick your side, name a stake. Call out one person or leave it open to anyone. Your stake is held the moment you post.
2. Someone takes the other side. Their stake is held too. Once taken, neither of you can back out — the bet is on.
3. It settles itself. When the game goes final the winner takes the whole pot. A tie pushes and both stakes come back. If nobody takes your challenge before kickoff, your stake is returned automatically.
You're betting on who wins the game outright — same as the main board, no spread. What you wagered has nothing to do with what the pick is worth in points.
